Homeschool Freebie of the Day

I love yard sales, store sales, and going to sales with coupons in hand. Basically, I just enjoy finding a good deal on a quality item. That’s why when I found, I just had to share it.

Every Monday through Friday, Homeschool Freebie of the Day posts a new product that’s available for free. Items include e-books, audio programs, samples, lesson plans, unit studies, games, and any other type of quality homeschooling resource that’s free. And the items are truly free, at least for the one day that they are posted. And all of them come as instant downloads to your computer.

That’s it! There’s no further obligation once you’ve received your freebie of the day. Some publishers may require that you sign up for their mailing list, but most use links that don’t even require your name or email address. You choose which freebies you want and just leave the ones you don’t.

It’s easy to get started. The website is clean, uncluttered, and so simple to use. Just go to the home page to view today’s freebie. You can scroll down to view other freebies that have been offered during the week, and some will still be available. You can even get a preview of the freebies for the week so you don’t have to check back every day. Simply go to the “Join List” tab and provide your email information. Then, every Monday morning, you’ll get a “heads up” in your email box on what’s coming.

While you’re at the site, be sure to click on the tab marked “Secret.” I saw it and clicked on it — I wanted to know what the secret could be! Turns out it’s a page with links to hundreds of lesson plans created by the U.S. Mint that correspond with the state quarters, the westward journey nickels, and other commemorative coins. Who knew? I guess that’s why it’s labeled “Secret.”

So take a moment and check out the freebie of the day and, as the site’s slogan says, “catch it while you can.”
